    Hawaii! Saw way too many family sitcoms as a child where they swam with the dolphins there and I’m thinking its my turn. :0)

    Iceland because it is so unimaginably beautiful. I’m tired of looking at photos, I want to see it in person! They have a great culture, clean air, spectacular views, and volcanoes that can stop the whole world in it’s tracks.

    I would travel to then Flatiron Building in NYC to visit the birthplace of the original Bathroom Reader.

    New Zealand. I met someone from there years ago and was fascinated with her accent. The country is beautiful and I’d like to see it in person.

    I would choose to go on a world tour cruise with my husband. Our food and room would be paid for and all we would have to do is enjoy, take photos, relax, absorb history. Ummmm I can imagine it now!

    Machu Picchu, because my dream is to become an archaeologist. I know it’s not monetarily feasible but what a cool damn thing to do, especially somewhere as historic as Machu Picchu.

    world cruise. One place is not enough! But then, the cruise only allows for short stops, so you don’t get full immersion of the culture… so I would say Germany or Italy, then I can do some geneological work while walking the streets of my ancestors.

    Lake Tahoe, in California.

    My wife has often spoken about her fond memories of visiting her grandparents in California, and going horseback riding and camping in the mountains. With all the expenses and stresses of everyday life, we’ve never been able to return with our own children.

    Either Greece, England, or Brazil. Greece because I have always wanted to visit there. England because I have a snail-mail penpal just outside of London. Brazil because I want to walk in the rainforests & see flora & fauna that no one has ever seen before. My dream is to travel places before I go completely blind. (I am legally blind now: 20/400 in both eyes).

    Skye is my favorite place ‘to get away’ — it’s a balance of way off the beaten path but not in a wilderness all alone.

    Estonia – I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to several places in the world in my life. One place that still intrigues me is the country of Estonia. That a country which in the recent past was under the oppression of the Soviet iron rule, can now have a booming relatively free-market economy in the midst of the economic chaos in Europe – makes me want to go and see what they are doing right!

    I’d go to South America and go spider huntin’. I’m obsessed with tarantulas I’ve got two working on a third and fourth here soon. And I love to find one in the wild. My favorite so far is called a ‘Ghost Ornamental Tarantula’ so pretty.

    I’ve never been there but I want to go! I also plan on moving to either British Columbia or Alberta when I am a bit older and done with school. (Though I’ve never even been to either of those places lol)

    i would like to go to Ireland mainly for my family heritage. but i have always been fascinated by the celtics and their history all the legend and myths. The architecture to is so nice.

    I would go to Ireland to visit a friend who is close to death. She was my neighbor and after the death of her husband she moved back home to the town she was born in. My whole family lovers her and we miss her.

    scotland/ireland… aside from the beauty of those places, with a name like nunnery, i would love to do some genealogy work to try and find my ancestral roots… plus plenty of great musicians hail from this area (U2 to name one), as well as being the birthplace of guinness – the world’s greatest beer!!!

    Amarillo, Houston and Galveston TX. I’ve been in little ole’ dusty, EXTREMELY hot Yuma, AZ since having moved here in 1994. I was born, raised in Houston (graphic art career there) but moved here ‘following love’ (ha!). Got myself rooted with jobs, community volunteerism and have not been back “home” in about 7 years. My only closest relative (brother Joe) lives in Amarillo. I loved Galveston’s cultural mix and Gulf Coast /Cajun seafoods. *There’s No Place Like Home*
