antarctica so i could see penguins in their natural environment
Japan, I love the history and the people there.
australia..cuz its cool…i already won..but you never said only we are eligible to win only once
Australia-It would be nice to see the outback. Kangaroos and Dingos
Egypt, to see the pyrimids. Although I’m sure now and anytime in the near future is not a good idea…
England — so my husband and I can meet his half-sisters he’s never met.
New Zealand! It looks like such a beautiful country, with an interesting heritage and neat animals!
Hawaii! Saw way too many family sitcoms as a child where they swam with the dolphins there and I’m thinking its my turn. :0)
Iceland because it is so unimaginably beautiful. I’m tired of looking at photos, I want to see it in person! They have a great culture, clean air, spectacular views, and volcanoes that can stop the whole world in it’s tracks.
Scandinavia. See where my ancestors came from (and from the pics I’ve seen, very beautiful country also)
I would go to Liverpool, England so I can see where The Beatles grew up.
I would travel to then Flatiron Building in NYC to visit the birthplace of the original Bathroom Reader.
New Zealand. I met someone from there years ago and was fascinated with her accent. The country is beautiful and I’d like to see it in person.
Have a great day.
ps – happy birthday to me. I’d love to win! Love the books!!
California. Visit my family there and take my daughter to Sea World and Disney again.
Galapagos Islands… to see the animals in their natural habitat instead of in a zoo or aquarium.
i cannot choose just one place to travel. i wanna travel all over
I would love to travel to Italy because it made such a huge impression on my mom, I want to experience it for myself now
I’d love to go to Ireland and England someday! It looks so beautiful.
British Columbia, because i’d like to see the other half of Canada
I would choose to go on a world tour cruise with my husband. Our food and room would be paid for and all we would have to do is enjoy, take photos, relax, absorb history. Ummmm I can imagine it now!
New Zealand. Amazing landscape.
Hmmm… Finland or Norway. The culture and history fascinates me
Italy because I have never been there and my whole family is from there.
Way too many places to choose from: Australia, Japan, Hawaii, Itally, Rio!
If money was no object, Australia/New Zealand because I would like to see all the native wildlife and it is supposed to be beautiful there
Eastern Europe. I’ve always had a thing for ” bleak”.
Ireland. I have always wanted to go there. It’s so absolutely gorgeous.
Also – I would love to get to New York. I want to visit Ground Zero. I think every single American should visit that memorial at least once.
Somewhere in Europe
Rome. I’d like to see all the architecture in person.
Ronodonia, Brazil, to see the last vestiges of rain forest.
Alert, NWt – Furtherst North occupied city in the world. Population 17.
Galapagos Islands. I hear the wildlife experience is breathtaking.
Italy. As a joint birthday celebration for myself and my mum hiting milestones ( of which I will not tell, because I’m a lady!)
Fiji, because I love The Truman Show.
Machu Picchu, because my dream is to become an archaeologist. I know it’s not monetarily feasible but what a cool damn thing to do, especially somewhere as historic as Machu Picchu.
world cruise. One place is not enough! But then, the cruise only allows for short stops, so you don’t get full immersion of the culture… so I would say Germany or Italy, then I can do some geneological work while walking the streets of my ancestors.
Lake Tahoe, in California.
My wife has often spoken about her fond memories of visiting her grandparents in California, and going horseback riding and camping in the mountains. With all the expenses and stresses of everyday life, we’ve never been able to return with our own children.
Alaska. Because of it’s beautiful nature
Italy because of its history and beautiful scenery.
A few places in Argentina. Like have you ever google’d Cafayate, Argentina?
Ireland
Hawai’i … Aloha, dudes!
Either Greece, England, or Brazil. Greece because I have always wanted to visit there. England because I have a snail-mail penpal just outside of London. Brazil because I want to walk in the rainforests & see flora & fauna that no one has ever seen before. My dream is to travel places before I go completely blind. (I am legally blind now: 20/400 in both eyes).
I’d like to go to Ireland. Why? Because it’s beautiful and green… and many from both sides of my family hail from there.
I would go to New York. I so badly want to see the 9/11 museum, and to pay my respects to those who helped that day.
Australia. The women LOVE AMERICAN MEN. Ok but seriously I have some friends there and pretty sure some of my family hails from there.
Ashland, Oregon!!! I’ve heard Uncle John has put his books in every bathroom stall in town. How long are the lines for the men’s room?
Probably Portree, on the Island of Skye, Scotland.
Skye is my favorite place ‘to get away’ — it’s a balance of way off the beaten path but not in a wilderness all alone.
I’ve always wanted to visit Switzerland. It seems so pristine and beautiful.
Estonia – I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to several places in the world in my life. One place that still intrigues me is the country of Estonia. That a country which in the recent past was under the oppression of the Soviet iron rule, can now have a booming relatively free-market economy in the midst of the economic chaos in Europe – makes me want to go and see what they are doing right!
So many places… Euro Disney maybe?
Ashland, Oregon to visit you guys.
Italy. It looks so beautiful and peaceful.
Antartica to club baby seals i kid a little.
I’d like to go to New Zealand. I’ve always wanted to go there and see the natural beauty and from my experience the Kiwi’s are great people.
Antarctica, because I just want to be left alone.
I’d go to South America and go spider huntin’. I’m obsessed with tarantulas I’ve got two working on a third and fourth here soon. And I love to find one in the wild. My favorite so far is called a ‘Ghost Ornamental Tarantula’ so pretty.
I would travel to Japan to read a Bathroom Reader in style on one of their super futuristic toilets with all the buttons and stuff. Be quite the experience. Lol
I would travel to Ireland because my maternal ancestry is from there. I would love to see the “homeland”!
Italy, because most of my bloodline comes from there.
Vancouver, BC, Canada
I’ve never been there but I want to go! I also plan on moving to either British Columbia or Alberta when I am a bit older and done with school. (Though I’ve never even been to either of those places lol)
Italy, would like to try the food and it just looks so beautiful.
i would like to go to Ireland mainly for my family heritage. but i have always been fascinated by the celtics and their history all the legend and myths. The architecture to is so nice.
I would like to go to the Rocky Mountains again; I found that I like living in the mountains.
Turks & Caicos. Been there oce and want to return. Most beautiful beach in the world.
Italy!
To Denali, or Yosemite….any of our national parks. Way to much to see in the good ole U.S.A. I refuse to spend my hard earned money in foreign countries.
I would go to Australia because I find the culture and landscape interesting. Also my favorite band (AC/DC) is from there
I would go to Ireland to visit a friend who is close to death. She was my neighbor and after the death of her husband she moved back home to the town she was born in. My whole family lovers her and we miss her.
Hawaii. It’s just so beautiful. Been there once and would love to go back.
I’d like to back pack across Haiti.
I would go somewhere in South America, maybe Peru to see some Incan ruins.
i would like to go to africa to study their culture and way of living
scotland/ireland… aside from the beauty of those places, with a name like nunnery, i would love to do some genealogy work to try and find my ancestral roots… plus plenty of great musicians hail from this area (U2 to name one), as well as being the birthplace of guinness – the world’s greatest beer!!!
Home.
Africa on a safari
Irleand because of my heritage
New Zealand. I could try to lie and say it was for some reason other then Lord of the Rings, but I’m not going to.
Australia. The mystique of the place, with it’s unusual forms of wildlife. I’ve always wanted to visit.
Hell. Is it really that hot or is it the humidity. I can take the heat but not the humdity. Especially since lots of people say I’m going there for a long time.
Anywhere….. I just want to get out of my little cage of a house!
Prauge. Always wanted to. I think it looks like a beautiful place to get lost in.
Amarillo, Houston and Galveston TX. I’ve been in little ole’ dusty, EXTREMELY hot Yuma, AZ since having moved here in 1994. I was born, raised in Houston (graphic art career there) but moved here ‘following love’ (ha!). Got myself rooted with jobs, community volunteerism and have not been back “home” in about 7 years. My only closest relative (brother Joe) lives in Amarillo. I loved Galveston’s cultural mix and Gulf Coast /Cajun seafoods. *There’s No Place Like Home*
to uncle johns head office and demand that i recieve a copy of the newest bathroom reader! or else!…please?……
Hawaii – have been there and can’t wait to go back. Beautiful.
Either Scotland because my mom’s family is from there, or England, because my father’s family is from there.
